Care guide

Our garments are designed to be used by children playing, exploring and having fun - and still be passed on when outgrown - especially if you take care of them. In order to make a favourite item last even longer we have created a list of useful tips and guidelines to help you prolong the life of your child´s clothes

Wash it

Wash clothes at low temperatures to save energy and keep them looking new longer, as modern detergents are effective even at low temperatures. Reduce washing frequency; some items like wool, outerwear, and jeans only need airing.

Spot clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap instead of washing the entire garment. Turn clothes inside out before washing to protect the fabric and preserve color, especially for denim.

Dry it

Extend the lifespan of your clothes and let them air dry. This is better for your clothes, the planet and uses less energy. Shake your damp clothes gently to avoid crinkles and leave them to dry for a fresh smell and a crisp feel.

Place your clothes such as wool and knitwear on a clean towel and dry flat to help preserve their shape and prevent the fibres from stretching.

Care for it

Different materials need different approaches. Always read the care labels and washing instructions carefully to make each individual garment last as long as possible.

Instead of washing garments such as outerwear, knit and wool after each use they benefit from simply being aired out from time to time. The lovely smell of fresh air will refresh your clothes and at the same time you save energy.

Pass it

Instead of letting your child’s outgrown clothes sit in a box, pass them on! Let someone else enjoy it and give them a new life in a different wardrobe.
